The short version
FieldCheck’s initial report builder is designed to work locally in your browser. Project details, inspection items, and attached photos used in the builder are processed on your device and may be saved in browser storage for autosave. FieldCheck does not require an account to create a report.
When you export PDF, JSON, or CSV, or use the browser’s print function, the resulting file is handled by your device and whatever destination you choose. You are responsible for storing and sharing those files appropriately.
Information you enter into the tool
Report content can include project names, addresses, inspector or client details, findings, responsibility, dates, notes, and photos. In the current local-first workflow, that content is used in your browser to build the report. It is not intended to be uploaded to a FieldCheck account or cloud project because those features are not part of this release.
Browser storage belongs to the particular browser profile and device. It may persist after you close the page, and it can be lost or exposed if the device is shared, compromised, reset, or cleared. Export required records and delete local data when appropriate for your workflow.
Technical data generated when you visit
Like most websites, the web server and hosting infrastructure may process limited request data needed to deliver and protect the service. This can include IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser or device information, referring page, response status, and security-related logs. Hosting, network, and security providers may process this information on our behalf under their own infrastructure controls.
As of August 14, 2026, FieldCheck does not use the report builder to create advertising profiles or sell personal information. If measurement, authentication, cloud storage, or other material data practices are added, this notice will be updated before or when those practices apply.
Local storage, cookies, and controls
FieldCheck uses browser-local storage to support functions such as report autosave. Local storage is not the same as a server account, but anyone using the same unlocked browser profile may be able to access saved content. Your browser settings can clear site data; doing so can permanently remove an unsaved working report.
You can limit report data by using project codes instead of unnecessary personal information, avoiding sensitive details in photographs, working in an appropriate device profile, exporting required backups, and clearing saved data when the job is complete.
Photos and sensitive inspection information
Inspection reports can reveal addresses, access arrangements, defects, assets, occupants, or security details. Capture only information necessary for the inspection purpose. Avoid faces, identity documents, mail, screens, access codes, children, medical information, and personal belongings unless you have a lawful and necessary reason to include them.
Do not use FieldCheck as the only repository for evidence subject to contractual, insurance, legal, regulatory, or professional retention rules. Report exports may not preserve all original image metadata or resolution, so retain originals separately where required.
Sharing and international use
FieldCheck does not choose the recipients of files you export. Before sending a report, check every item and photo, remove unnecessary personal information, and use a transfer and storage method suitable for its sensitivity. Your client, employer, contract, and local law may impose additional confidentiality, security, retention, or deletion requirements.
The service can be accessed internationally. Laws differ by location and role. You are responsible for determining whether your inspection, photography, storage, and sharing practices are permitted and for obtaining any required notices, consent, or agreements.
Your questions and requests
For privacy questions or requests relating to information FieldCheck actually controls, email support@fmppt.com. Include enough detail for us to understand the request, but do not send sensitive inspection files or passwords by ordinary email. We may need to verify identity and jurisdiction before acting on a request.
Because local report content stays on your device in the initial workflow, we generally cannot retrieve, correct, or delete that local content for you. Use your browser controls and any in-tool reset or deletion option available to manage it.
